Here is a sample of the glasses offered by Zenni Optical

Lost Boys 2

Onwards towards another mention of a sequel. This one is kind of funny because the overrated 1987 hit The Lost Boys didn't spawn an immediate sequel. In fact, the sequel languished in development hell for close to two decades. Lost Boys 2 is finally in production and it should get a direct to dvd or cable release sometime in the coming months. Personally, the lame horror-comedy/anti-horror formula of the late 1980's has mercifully become passe with the return of visceral horror in recent years. Personally, I think films like The Lost Boys did more damage to the genre than helped it so I hardly look forward to sequels that present more of the same.

A Remake I am Looking Forward to...Hellraiser

I have been somewhat down on remakes lately but I want to stress that I have zero problem with remakes or sequels when they are done well. One of the remakes I am looking forward to is the upcoming (well, Sept '08) remake of Hellraiser. I thought the original was a weird film that was one of the last of the great 1980's horror films and like a number of films released during that era it didn't get the greatest distribution as the drive ins and indie theaters that carried such films were closing shop. I did get to see the marginally decent sequel in a run down grindhouse theater but it was a forgettable film. The subsequent sequels were abysmal and less said about them the best said.

But, I am looking forward to a new entry in the Hellraiser series as most horror films of late have been pretty good.

one sad note...longtime horror icon Doug Bradley won't be portraying Pinhead in the new film. Hiss and boo.

Halloween Comics Coming in February

Here is some news for you comic fans as there is a new Michal Myers/Halloween comic book coming out in February. (Was there a previous Halloween comic series? I can't remember) You can check out the website for the Halloween Comic here, but don't look for a lot of info on it. The site is pretty sparse but they will surely update it as the release date approaches.

Diary of the Dead Coming Coming to Theaters

Remember in the old days when you had to wait a decade for a new Romero Zombie film? Scratch that. There was no Romero zombie film in the 1990's because the remake of Night of the Living Dead was a BITTER disappointment and the worst of all the films. Plus, Romero didn't direct it.

Only a few years on the heels of Land of the Dead we are getting Diary of the Dead which is Romero's new Zombie film that will be rolling into theaters. Don't look for a wide screen release because this is mostly going to play on art house screens (yes, there still are a few of them left in big cities) and on a few multiplex screens that have opted to carry it. Of course, the number of screens could increase and it make no sense why people would avoid carrying it as Land of the Dead did fairly well at the box office. Anyway, let's keep our fingers crosses that the number of theatrical showings will increase.

BTW...what ever happened to the 3-D remake of Night of the Living Dead that came out last year? Did I blink and miss it?

Payday Loan Overview

Have you ever really wondered whether or not a product or service on the web really delivers what it is promising? Of course you have! Most thoughtful people ponder such things. Mostly any potential consumer who is debating making a purchase wonders if the deliver, customer service and overall quality will be at a level that is acceptable. This goes for any product and service on the internet including cash advance sites that offer payday loans. Keep in mind, when you are in the need for a payday loan you are probably finding yourself in a financial crisis. That is to say, there is a need to rapid funding in light of an unforeseen emergency, medical expense, food shortages and other serious concerns. In the past, the volume of resources available for those looking for consumer information on payday loan services was non-existent. Thankfully, due to an excellent website named www.trustsource.org those payday services that are top notch are listed and profiled. This is a very comprehensive site that provides detailed information that can truly prove helpful for a payday loan applicant. TrustSource.org offers a ton of info on a variety of products and services and it is an excellent site well worth bookmarking.

For What It Is Worth

For what it is worth, I did finally watch From Beyond and Frankenstein Conquers the World. Yes, I was rambling on for quite a while on this blog that I was looking forward to these DVDs - and I really was. Honest - but as much as I hate to admit it....life gets in the way. Of course, when life gets in the way it becomes tough to enjoy those things you consider fun. But, the way I look at it as long as I keep my priorities in order I'll have the ability to keep spending time on those things that I enjoy. One of which is, of course, this rather cool blog on the subject of horror films past and present. And, yes, lengthier retrospectives on those aforementioned two films will be coming. Promise.

Medical Carer Training

There are a number of great professions that many people would love to enter but lack the proper educational training. This is why when a solid training facility becomes available serious minded people who are looking to get ahead in life should explore the opportunities that such a facility offer. For those interested in a career in the medical profession, finding the right training programs in necessary and Medical Career Training can help. There are a number of different areas of the medical field that Medical Career Training can direct people. Most people will assume that a career in the medical profession refers to doctors and nurses but this is a very limited perspective of the medical profession. In reality, there a number of other occupations that are available. An ultrasound tech position, for example, is something that is always in demand. Of course, the Medical Career Training can lead one to an excellent ultrasound tech school. Of course, in addition to helping provide ultrasound technician school there is other disciplines Medical Career Training can help locating. In fact, the site offers an unique directory of online schools are well as in depth information on a number of other medical professions such as healthcare management and even holistic medicine. As such, this is a resource well worth exploring.

April Fool's Day Remake

This one really blows my mind. Remakes have always been common in horror circles but they usually remade films that were either really good films or films that did well at the box office. Now, we get a direct to DVD remake of April's Fools Day. For those who blinked and missed the original film it was a slasher film that came out in 1985...4 years after the slasher film was deader than dead. The film starred the always engaging Caroline Munro but it is not like her name can open a film. April's Fools Day was a below average horror film that lasted a week or so in theaters before moving to video where it was equally missed. Now, we get a remake of a film that no one saw and had to real plot. Geez.

Cloverfield Does Huge on Friday

Cloverfield delivered HUGE box office on Friday pulling in $16 million in one day. The film should pull in around $40 million. This is for a film that only cost $25 million to make and centers on a genre (giant monster) that was written off a long, long time ago. Hopefully, this will lead to a number of "rip offs" as is usually the case when a horror or sci fi film does lots of cashola at the box office. It would be humorous to see the giant monster genre back in the USA after a near 50 year moratorium. Stranger things have happened so we will see what the future of giant, raging bugs on a rampage have to offer.

Friday the 13th My Bloody Valentine Release Info

Now, this really has my blood boiling because it is such an idiotic marketing strategy that whoever thought of it should be tossed out on their behind. The remake of MY BLOODY VALENTINE will be released on the SAME DAY as the FRIDAY THE 13th remake. This is stunningly foolish and reminds me of the time when THE PUNISHER was released on the same day as KILL BILL. THE PUNISHER ended up losing out on several millions in opening weekend take due to such a foolish release and MY BLOODY VALENTINE will probably be killed (ha ha pun intended) when th audience tunes in to see the far better known FRIDAY THE 13th films. Keep in mind, every FRIDAY THE 13th movie rerun is a commercial for he remake's release so this idea is a stunningly bad one beyond belief.

El Pollo Loco

El Pollo Loco remains on of the best places to swing by when it comes time to grab something to eat. Personally, I like to take El Pollo Loco's citrus-marinated flame-grilled Mexican chicken in an omelet. Yes, you read that correctly…in an omelet! If you want further ideas and a bit of entertainment you can also check out www.wherestheflamegrill.com which has loads of videos about flamegrilling.

Unique Spin on the traditional Giant Monster Movie

whether is is the atomic bomb films of the 1950's to the Toho giant monster movies of the 1960's and early 1970's (yes, I know they started in the 1950's but I am talking about the decade they hit their stride)no matter what kind of super monster was being presented in the film whether it was giant ants or Rodan there was always a great deal of exposition in regards to what the creature was and where it came from. Usually, adding these two equations together provided the secret information necessary for defeating the creature(s). with Cloverfield that is all eschewed in favor of a Blair Witch Project style mock documentary about the onslaught of a giant creature. No, I was not a fan of the awful Blair Witch Project but I was always a fan of the giant monster genre...a genre that has been repeatedly pronounced dead but manages to make a resurrection now and then. With Cloverfield (what a BAD title for a monster movie. What ever happened to cool titles such as The Deadly Mantis?) Anyway, Cloverfield looks to be a huge hit and will keep the resurrected horror genre alive for a few more years to come.

Legend of Bigfoot - AWFUL!

Ugh, as promised, I am reviewing the awful 1976 crockumentary Legend of Bigfoot. This film is a chore to watch as it is loaded with travelogue footage and voice over narration (used to save production costs of recording sound when filming) to tell the tale of some guy's search for bigfoot. If there was anything of value it would be the presence of hokey Ivan Marx bigfoot hoax footage that is presented prominently. Of course, it looks pretty bad but worthwhile for bigfoot completists. This is one of the lesser known bigfoot films ever made and deservedly so. Stick with The Mysterious Monsters which is the supreme best of all the Bigfoot documentaries along with those cool In Search Of episodes instead.

Construction Skills

Very few people understand the complexities of the construction business. Yes, there may be those people who assume the understand it but time eventually reveals that the industry has more facets to it than what was originally perceived. For someone who is new to the construction industry this can prove to be a difficult situation to navigate. This is where Cskills.org (ConstructionSkills) comes into play with its helpful information and reliable employment training. The value that Cskills.org provides can never be understated as it provides excellent resource information of health and safety legislation and the ever expanding news on industry career development. Did you know that Csills.org can provide information on receiving a certification by the year 2010? Again, it is unnecessary to try and navigate through a complex field on your own when the people at Cskills.org can provide all the critical information that is necessary for a successful career.

Lon Chaney Sr.

Where would the horror genre be today without Lon Chaney Sr? Without the groundwork he laid during the silent era would we even have had the classic horror films of the 1930's that are so iconic? Maybe, maybe not. But certainly Chaney's tremendous work is what got the ball rolling for an interest in fantastic films. Here is a little tribute to the master.

Rugby

Rugby remains a thrilling and exciting sport. It has grown in popularity all over the world on the university, amateur and professional level. This is an exciting sport to watch and an exciting sport to participate in. This is because it is an action packed sport that also encompasses a significant amount of strategy. So, when the top rugby tournament in Europe emerges on the horizon people should take notice. The RBS 6 Nation's website is the official website of Europe's premier international rugby tournament which offers the prize of the 6 Nation's Championship. Also, this site offers a complete list of reliable tournament news, results, etc. Again, this is a very solid site that longtime and new fans to the sport of rugby would greatly enjoy visiting. (it also offers interactive games and info on online rugby games)Again, rugby is a unique and exciting sport and anyone with even a passing interest in rugby should definitely visit the site.

PromNight Soundtrack

Believe it or not there was an actual soundtrack album for 1980's PROM NIGHT. It was only available for sale in Japan and copies of it are pretty difficult to come buy. However, one of the tracks from the film has been made available on the net and here it is. be forewarned...the song itself is REALLY bad. It's way more frightening than anything in the film!

Prom Night Theatrical Trailer

I could not dig up the really cool television spots from the (bad) film PROM NIGHT but here is the theatrical trailer. When you watch the trailer this looks like a really cool film but with PROM NIGHT the sum does not add up to a decent whole. Anyway, the trailer itself is actually kind of neat.

Backgammon Online

Backgammon is a game that has been around a long, long time and now thanks to MisterGammon.com the experience of playing the game enters a new phase. MisterGammon.com ( a site available in six languages) offers solid information on the game of backgammon including info about online backgammon tournaments events as well as providing backgammon online software for money or just for fun.

Naschy Wolfman Comic Book

For those who are huge fans of comic books as well as huge fans of Spain's legendary horror movie star Paul Naschy here is some good news - there is a cool comic adaptation of the classic 1980 film RETURN OF THE WOLFMAN. Unfortunately, it is only available in an import Sapnish language version but sooner or later a smart dude will release an English translation. (Hopefully sooner)

Prom Night Remake

Way back in 1980 the Jamie Lee Curtis horror vehicle PROM NIGHT had some cool and creepy television commercials that allowed to stand out in the crowd of weak slasher films. Oh, wait, PROM NIGHT was a weak slasher movie that had really nothing unique to offer other than a typical "event" gimmick theme that slasher films were known for. When the film eventually spawned "sequels"they were non-slasher stand alone goofy horror movies whose success was truly perplexing. Also perplexing is the fact that such a long forgotten film is getting the remake treatment. At least MY BLOODY VALENTINE had a cool looking killer with a really weak name (Harry, of all things)Oh well, look at the remake this way - it couldn't be worse than the original.

Online Gambling

Are you looking for a wide range of online gambling opportunities? Well, if this is what you are looking for then you surely have skimmed a number of sites on the net. Of course, you have probably discovered that some sites are just better than others. This is understandable. Not all online wagering services are created equal. Thankfully, there are also stellar, top of the line services such as Bet365.com which is a true powerhouse in the world of online gaming. This is a site that offers a wide variety of gaming which includes the very popular game of poker. Yes, you read that correctly! If you are interested in being hooked up with a solid game of poker then this is the site to check out. Of course, there is much more to the site than just poker and that is why you should most definitely check it out.

Rob Zombie - TCM, HALLOWWEEN DVD

I just placed an order for the director's cut of the Rob Zombie Halloween remake. I was a huge fan of HOUSE OF 1000 CORPSES and THE DEVIL'S REJECTS and was somewhat disappointed at HALLOWEEN. However, I did not think that it was a bad film per se as much as it was two short films back to back ala GRINDHOUSE. (Which WAS a really bad film and incredibly disappointing) There were a number of reshoots on HALLOWEEN so I am looking forward to seeing what I missed. BTW - the box office gross for HALLOWEEN was way more that HOUSE and DEVIL'S earned COMBINED.

BTW - I really feel out of it when it comes to horror films because I have not been keeping up with things lately and it is simply because I have been writing (and studying) other subject matter lately. I was miffed to discover I missed Rob Zombie hosting a late night horror movie weekly series on Turner Classic Movies (he did 13 episodes where he provided trivia to the feature presentations). I would have dug seeing these a lot because Rob is most definitely knowledgeable about horror films. Plus, we are in definite need of a horror movie host who knows his stuff. Remember when Joe Bob Briggs brilliantly hosted Monster Vision way back when? That was one great cable program.

Poker Calculator

To say that online poker has taken the world by storm would be a supreme understatement. Not all online poker sites are created equal and that is why MagicHoldem.com remains such an extraordinary site. The poker calculator found on this site can dramatically increase your poker odds for the better. MagicHoldem.com has a phenomenal Holdem Calculator. Please check out its fantastically designed site for more information.

Friday The 13th Remake

Yes, there is also a Friday the 13th remake and it is much further along that the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. I am not so much looking forward to this one mainly because ALL the Friday the 13th films were essentially remakes. But, I still have a fondness for these hyper bad films having watched them on Halloween on AMC. (Since when are the travels of Jason Vorhees considered American Movie CLASSICS?) Anyway, follow that link to some spoilers about the film.

Nightmare on Elm Street remake

Looks like I spoke to soon about there not being a new Nightmare on Elm Street movie on the horizon. The mega success of the Halloween remake has opened the floodgates for a slew of remakes and a new Elm Street movie is definitely a go.

EXCERPT:

"this very moment there are NO immediate plans for Freddy vs Jason 2. Bummer. But there is some good news! We've been informed that New Line is actively developing another Nightmare on Elm Street movie. Everything you've heard before has been scrapped (prequel) and they're back at square one. Ideas are being thrown around without anything solid locked down. Expect some news on this later this year and until then we'll focus our attention on their remake of Friday the 13th. "

I am looking forward to this one a lot, but what I would REALLY dig would be a serious and somber remake of the Dream Warriors. Now that would be awesome.

online backgammon

Backgammon is hardly a new game as it as been around for many hundreds of years. Online backgammon is, of course, a new manifestation of the traditional game and its popularity lies with the ability for wagering success. If you want to play backgammon then gammon-fortune.com is one of the best sites to visit as it offers a play for fun or play for money option in a number of languages. Backgammon online games are growing so be a part of the trend with gammon-fortune.com

Resident Evil: Degeneration

Speaking of trailers here is the new one for RESIDENT EVIL: DEGENERATION. I was most definitely NOT a fan of the RESIDENT EVIL films as they are total moron movies...but I have to Marvel at the box office they have pulled in. Yes, idiotic movies have their legions of fans.

Hellboy 2 Teaser

I was one of those people who was pleasantly surprised at the film HELLBOY and have been waiting for th sequel for several years now. After a number of unfortunate delays the film is slated for an August 2008 release. (for a while I thought the film was going to be shelved) So, if you are looking forward to the sequel as much as I am you will find this teaser trailer promising:

Onine Casino Opportunity

Online gaming and wagering has become wildly popular in recent years and that popularity is based significantly on the quality of the online provider. 32Vegas.com is one of the best designed and operated online casino that offers a number of great games that have the potential to deliver a ton of money to a lucky player. Can't make it to a Vegas casino in person? No problem! Stick with 32Vegas.com's solid casino games and they will deliver the same winning results.

New Teminator Trilogy

Speaking of sequels, here is some news for those who are fans of the classic sci-fi film series THE TERMINATOR: there is a new trilogy on the horizon and it will take place in the future…but not so far in the future that Arnold "exists" as he is not able to appear in the films. (He is busy terminating the economy of California) While some may feel that a non-Arnie Terminator just isn't the same…this can be a good thing. It does get to the point that the same old, same old can be a recipe for a bad film. So, I wouldn't knock a new direction for the series.

Day of the Dead Goes Direct to Video

Sometimes the decisions that studios make have me shaking my head. Despite the fact that the box office receipts for the FRIDAY THE 13TH and ELM STREET series declined and declined New Line continued to make sequels…and lose money. When JASON VS. FREDDY debuted and made $80 million bucks including a $30 opening weekend…they stopped making sequels.

When the DAWN OF THE DEAD remake pulled in $50 million at the box office a sequel was planned. In a sneaky fashion (by the way, one jerk editor I worked for once hassled me for using the word sneaky. Moron) the remake rights to DAY OF THE DEAD were snatched up with the idea of cashing in on all the money that zombie movies have made while tying itself to the success of DAWN OF THE DEAD and LAND OF THE DEAD. I guess this was a good idea in theory…then they went and made a rotten film. Reportedly, the remake of DAY OF THE DEAD is pretty awful as a screening proved disastrous. This led to reshoots…but they were not enough to salvage collapsed plans for a theatrical release. It heads straight to video April 8.

A Site for Pay Slots

Are you looking for pay slots or, more accurately, quality pay slot sites? If you are then you will definitely want to check out the online slots as offered by Sloterix. Sloterix is one of the true pioneers of casino slots and this is why it should be the first stop for anyone looking for a quality online slot provider. It is a great site. Please check it out.

Bigfoot (1970)

Bigfoot exploitation remains a genre that pops up every now and then. Back in 1970, this obscure drive in film may have been the second Bigfoot film after CURSE OF BIGFOOT but it received far less exposure. (CURSE was made in 1966 and sucked so bad it wasn't released until the 1970's and then headed off to Saturday Morning UHF TV). BIGFOOT was made in 1970 and made a run through the Drive-In circuit where it benefited from the growing Bigfoot fad and the fact that the film had enough dopey mayhem to appeal to horror fans. So, for those who can't get enough of Bigfootploitation...here is the trailer:

Sea Monster Clips

It is somewhat amazing to me how myths continue to perpetuate long after certain myths and falsehoods have long since been proven to be false. When I was a little kid, I LOVED reading about the mystery surrounding "strange creatures in our midst" such as Bigfoot and the Loch Ness Monster. As an adult, I still find the subject fascinating because of out inability to truly solve the mystery and the origin of these myths even though many of the "true stories" behind these myths have been exposed. For example, on this YouTube collection we STILL see the hoax of the Surgeon's Photo – the photo that started the legend of the Loch Ness Monster – (no, don't buy the sea monster legends prior to the 1933 photos…these "histories" were actually created much later) still presented as a real pic of the creature. Also present are a number of other mysterious photos that are not so mysterious. The photo of the rotting sea monster carcass has long since been established as the half rotted carcass of a basking shark….but, if you still dig this stuff for fun this can be an enjoyable viewing experience.

Looking at Online Casinos

It is not just the bright colors that make Gamblux.com's website interesting to check out. Yes, the look and design of the site is solid but what really makes this one of the better resource sites for online casinos is the fact that it provides solid news, reviews and info on the casino online world that few sites can match. If you are looking for a great informational site on the subject of casinos this is most definitely the site you will want to check out.

Stuart Gordon's New Project

Here is some excellent news for those fans of RE-ANIMATOR and FROM BEYOND. Legendary Genre director Stuart Gordon returns to the director's chair with a new HP Lovecraft adaptation entitled THE THING ON THE DOORSTEP.

Here is a synopsis from http://www.bloody-disgusting.com/film/1714

Psychiatrist EDWARD DERBY becomes obsessed with the beautiful, terrified ASENATH WAITE, who claims her father EPHRAIM is trying to take over her body with his mind. Despite causing considerable heartache to his devoted wife KATIE, Edward winds up having a sexual liaison with Asenath, which triggers the transfer of Ephriam's soul from Asenath's body to his own. Aware that he's descending into madness but powerless to stop it, Edward consults his best friend, fellow shrink DANIEL MEYER, who fails to believe Edward's story until it's too late...

Gordon's RE-ANIMATOR is one of the all-time classic horror films and FROM BEYOND was an underrated gem. His PIT AND THE PENDULUM was equally underrated as was the excellent FORTRESS. Some of Gordon's other work such as DOLLS, however, was forgettable. Dipping back into the Lovecraft realm for a new film idea does seem like a good idea as Lovecraft has always been the inspiration for his best work.

SciFi Japan

There are a number of excellent websites on the internet that cover horror and science fiction and sometimes it becomes wise to acknowledge them. A while back I mentioned that I was going to launch into a series of entries on personal recollections of watching Toho films and that the new release of a number of top notch boxed sets was what inspired me to do so. Unfortunately, we can not predict the future and when it become obvious that work and other responsibilities had cut into the time necessary to review these videos I had to cut short my intended reviews mainly because I would not have had the chance to invest the proper amount of time required to give the retrospectives the proper attention. While I will get to these reviews in due time, I wanted to provide the URL of an excellent resource that covers Toho and other awesome Japanese fantasy films. The site is SciFi Japan and you wan access it at http://www.scifijapan.com/articles/

ipod case

The iPod has long since established itself as one of the most revolutionary new products on the world electronics landscape. He reason for this is obvious: the iPod delivers a number of reliable services for a relatively low cost. As such, it becomes important to make sure that nothing happens to the iPod. Now, for some, this may mean that one should keep an iPod from being stolen and this is true…but sometimes one needs to even defend against other common hazards. This means the iPod needs to be protected from scratches and abrasions. Of course, this means that one needs a way of protecting the iPod from damage and that comes from the use an ipod case as offered by Shield Zone (www.shieldzone.com). This is an excellent case that will definitely keep an iPod safe, but it is also a great deal more versatile than that. For example, the cases offered by Shield Zone can be used to protect cell phones, smartphones, macbooks, portable gaming consoles and a variety of other products. Keep in mind, if you invest money in making sure that you have the best of the best in terms of consumer electronics you will also want to make sure that that product is free from harm. As such, Shield Zone provides an incredibly valuable product. Sponsored Post

Bigfoot Prank!

As miserable as the following video is, I have to admit I had the EXACT same idea for pulling a prank like this one. Of course, it is not even an original prank as it was pulled in the 1970's many, many times and chronicled in Marion Ross' excellent BIGFOOT ALL ACROSS THE COUNTRY (hey, it was excellent to me!) This is a funny video, but then again…I find stupid stuff like this funny.

cool song!

I have to admit I have a horrible problem biting my nails. Yes, it is a vice and I am not alone with my vice. Singer Alisa Apps has a bad vice known as thumb sucking. Surely you have heard about it. Now, you can here the cool song she has written about this subject! Check it out! Sponsored post

The Grindhouse Comes to Walmart

The days of the Grindhouse live on in – of all places – Walmart. I was waltzing up and down the aisles in a New Jersey Walmart a few days ago (I never walk. I only waltz. Except on days I am inspired to mosey) and came across a pile of DVDs that were selling for the outrageously low price of $1. No, that wasn't a typo. Walmart offers a dumping ground of public domain DVDs for the cost of a buck. I picked up two gems that were pretty surprising to find in a retailer: THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT (1976) and EXIT THE DRAGON! ENTER THE TIGER! (1977).

THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT was a member of the Bigfoot documentary fad that was wildly popular in the 1970's starting with the 1972's docudrama THE LEGEND OF BOGGY CREEK (the first distribution of this Arkansas produced indie film involved the producer driving prints in the back of his pick up truck around the local region looking for theaters interested in carrying it. The film ended up grossing $22 million dollars). The first documentary was the wildly wacky THE MYSTERIOUS MONSTERS of 1975 which was also a huge hit. I remember the funky TV commercials for THE LEGEND OF BIGFOOT when it reached the Philadelphia area in 1979 and they played on TV for seemingly months.

The Bruce Li star vehicle EXIT THE DRAGON! ENTER THE TIGER! (1977) also played in Philadelphia theaters for one week only at the old Capital Theater in North Philly. The Capital Theater was an infamous Grindhouse that exclusively played kung-fu movie double features until the mid-1980's when the theater closed its doors forever. I saw a VHS of this film about 10 years ago and I will say this: it is one of the most ridiculously outrageous kung fu movies of the 1970's….and that covers a lot of ground!

I'll have more detailed reviews on the films after I get the chance to watch them.
